Iron is a mineral found in the largest amounts in the blood. Its most important function is the
production of hemoglobin (by combining with copper and proteins) and oxygenation of red
blood cells. Hemoglobin transports oxygen in the blood from the lungs to the tissues.
Iron deficiency may lead to symptoms like hair loss, fatigue, pallor, dizziness, anemia and finger
or toe nails that have a spoon-like shape or have ridges lengthwise.

Ferosom Forte is in liposomal form. Liposomal technology is known for its advance nutrient
delivery system. These iron sachets are a berry flavoured powder and include vitamins C, D, B6,
B12 and folic acid.

With just one sachet per day, Ferosom Forte is convenient as you can pour
the powder in the sachet directly into your mouth to dissolve or mix it into water, a
juice/smoothie or even yogurt. Do not mix the sachet into anything hot.
Ferosom Forte is gentle on the stomach and suitable to take while pregnant and breastfeeding.

390 mcg Folate (Folic Acid)
1.75 mcg Vitamin B12 (Cyancobalamin)
1 mg Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride)
70 mg Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
400 IU Vitamin D (Ergocalciferol)

Non-medicinal ingredients: lecithin, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, citric acid, d-sorbitol, flavour,
sucralose.

Ferosom Forte Iron should be taken as recommended by a Health Care Professional. Take a
few hours before or after taking other medications.
