This Activated Charcoal is a type of carbon made from coconut shells and looks like a fine black
powder. Activated Charcoal works through “adsorption” (not to be confused with absorption),
making it able to bind with unwanted substances/chemicals and toxins in the gut. It is used to
remove irritants from the gastrointestinal tract while decreasing inflammation therefore
reducing bloating and gas. Once these toxins are bound to the charcoal, they are then
transported out of the body. It may also help to lower cholesterol by interfering with circulation
of bile acids.
Does not contain corn, dairy, gluten, soy, wheat or yeast.

Activated Charcoal should be taken as recommended by a Health Care Professional.
