• Aqua
• Stearalkonium chloride – derived from stearic acid, a fatty acid found in plants. Used primarily in hair products to serve as an anti-static agent. Found to increase luster and improve condition of wet or dry hair, often serving to de-tangle the air.
• Glycerin – natural vegetable glycerin acts as a humectant actually attracting moisture to skin, smoothing and softening.
• Propanediol – very effective corn based emollient that takes the place of widely unpopular ingredients like propylene glycol
• Cetearyl alcohol – is not really an “alcohol” such as ethyl or rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but is an emulsifying wax made by combining fatty alcohols derived from vegetable sources. Our cetearyl alcohol is naturally derived from coconut. It is an emollient, thickening agent, moisturizer, emulsifier and stabilizer
• Coco-caprylate/caprate – emollient and emulsifier for formulations. It is derived from coconut and improves the glide in products during application and leaves a non-greasy, soft after touch. It is widely accepted as a safe, non-toxic ingredient in hair and skin care products.
• Coconut oil – softens, adds shine, nourishes the hair shaft
• Cetyl alcohol – plant based emollient adding moisture and smoothness to the conditioner.
• Phenoxyethanol – widely accepted preservative considered to be safer than many. It is used in a low concentration of just less than 0.5%, just enough to do its job.
• Hydrolyzed jojoba esters – a very effective long lasting moisturizing agent derived from jojoba oil
• Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride – water soluble derivative of natural guar gum, and delivers conditioning and thickening properties to shampoos and after shampoo hair care products
• Panthenol – moisturizing, thickening and boosting hair’s body quotient it is derived from vitamin B5 and acts as a humectant, smoothes the hair surface and adds shine
• Hydrolyzed wheat protein – plant based. Nourishes and smoothes skin & hair, a moisture retainer it protects skin & hair from drying out.
