Description
INFLA is a specific combination of digestive and anti-inflammatory enzymes with antioxidants and metabolic cofactors. When taken with meals (or within one hour after), the digestive enzymes in INFLA aid the small intestines in the role of digesting fats, proteins and carbohydrates. They help maintain healthy intestines and reduce feeling of an upset stomach due to certain foods. When taken between meals, the ingredients of INFLA work synergistically to reduce the inflammation that causes soft tissue damage.
Inflammation is the body’s natural reaction to physical, chemical and metabolic stress, as well as injury that initiate tissue damage. The repeated physical process of inflammation can cause major tissue damage, and should be monitored and controlled. Clinical attributes include burning, swelling, discoloration, edema, and increased reactions to allergies and food intolerance. In a healthy person, inflammation initiates the process of ridding the body of damaged tissue, and rejuvenating the damaged area. However, when designated inflammatory pathways are abnormal or crippled, a chronic state of inflammation can develop and persist, causing physical restraints and pain.
Ingredients
INFLA contains various enzymes which disable macromolecular components during the increase of inflammation, while antioxidants remove free radicals produced during the formation of chronic and acute inflammation. INFLA provides enzymes from both plant and animal sources, each contributing to different mechanisms.
Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are both potent animal enzymes which effectively break down protein. Undigested protein is said to produce inflammation in the human body. Lipase breaks down fats and amylase breaks down carbohydrates.
Papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple are complex enzymes that resist degradation from the conditions that prevail in the human digestive tract, and are both potent digestants. Bromelain has prostaglandin regulating properties in addition to its proteolytic enzyme activity. Prostaglandin cascades are involved in the formation of inflammation, and by turning pro-inflammatory into anti-inflammatory, bromelain can moderate the symptoms, and increase recovery time. Reducing prostaglandin production as well results in quicker recovery time. Bromelain can also ameliorate excessive clotting which is attributed to inflammation.
Rutin is a bioflavonoid derived from the eucalyptus tree; it has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is an enzyme and the bodys main antioxidant defence towards controlling inflammation. SOD is the only enzyme that has the capability to process superoxide, a oxygen radical that is overproduced during inflammation.
Catalase is an antioxidant enzyme that cleans up more of the oxygen free radicals down the line after SOD. Catalase is a peroxidases type of enzyme which neutralizes hydrogen peroxide by converting it into water and oxygen.
L-Cysteine is a super antioxidant for the liquid area surrounding the cells in your body. L-Cysteine also maintains a balance of reduced glutathion (GSH) which is a part of each and every single cell. Any upset in the balance of GSH can aid the destruction or die-off of cells.(1)(2)(3)(4)
Zinc (gluconate salt) is an essential mineral that works synergistically with the enzyme SOD. It is also a partner with 30 other essential enzymes, some of which are pertinent for immune cells to be able to produce new cells to maintain chronic inflammation under control. (5)(6)(7)
Action
Global research conducted on the ingredients in INFLA Plus has been known to alleviate the following conditions:
- Arthritis, tendinitis, joint damage, bursitis, sport impact injuries;
- Muscle aches, bruises, sprains, swelling, tightness, and injuries;
- Wound healing, surgery recovery, burns, cuts, thrombophlebitis, hematomas. In earlier years on enzymology, it was thought that oral ingestion of enzymes was not beneficial, due to lack of assimilation through the stomach. With today’s modern testing and chromatographic analysis equipment, it has been established that the type of enzymes used in INFLA are absorbed in substantial quantities and are transported in the blood to the swollen tissue areas where they hinder inflammation production. Vitazan suggests INFLA to help the body control inflammation problems that, left unattended, may lead to chronic life-threatening diseases.
Suggested Use
Take 3 to 6 tablets three times daily, or as directed by your health professional.
Warning
Do not take with congenital or acquired coagulation disorders (e.g. haemophilia, severe liver damage, dialysis patients) or during pregnancy and lactation.
